How it runs

Three steps, in order.

  1. Order opens, camera startsPicking up an order starts the recording. The packer does not have to remember to do anything for the evidence to exist.
  2. Each item scanned inItems are scanned into the parcel one by one, each stamped onto the footage with its timestamp. Anything not on the order is rejected at the bench.
  3. Label printed at the point of sealCarrier service chosen, label bought and printed, tracking written back — in the same action that closes the parcel.

The honest bit

Packing is a desktop job here and we have no plans to move it to a phone. The bench needs a camera, a scanner and a label printer in fixed positions, and the throughput depends on the packer not holding a device.
